Custom Requests

Want something changed on your order? Email info@summitmx.us with your order number in the subject line and tell us what you need. Different logo, color swap, layout tweak, whatever it is. We check that inbox before every order goes to design, so your request won't get missed.

The number plate piece from our Moto Inspired Altis Delta kits, sold on its own and cut to fit the stock Altis Delta front number plate. Choose from six designs inspired by classic factory race colors: Honda, KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Husqvarna and Kawasaki. Each one matches the full Moto Inspired kit, so you can start with one piece and build out from there, or replace a single part without buying the whole kit again.

Add your rider number, pick a font from the charts in the photos, and we print it right into the decal at no extra charge.

Pick any of our nine finishes. Gloss and Matte are the classics, Sparkle adds a glitter laminate over the top, and Chrome and Holographic swap in premium vinyl that actually catches light. Chrome with Sparkle is the one most people end up choosing. Everything is printed on moto grade vinyl, cured a full 18 hours before we laminate it, and sealed to hold up to roost, pressure washers and sun.

Moto Inspired designs are original Summit MX artwork inspired by classic factory race colors. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any motorcycle manufacturer.

Surface Preparation

  • Thoroughly clean the application area using isopropyl alcohol or a mild, residue-free cleaner.
  • Remove all dirt, grease, wax, and dust.
  • Ensure the surface is completely dry and smooth before applying.

Positioning the Decal

  • Before removing the backing, test-fit and align the decal on the surface.
  • Use masking tape to hold it in place if needed.
  • Once aligned, flip the decal up and slowly peel away the backing paper.

Applying the Decal

  • Starting from the center, press the decal down gradually, working from the center outward.
  • Use your hand, a soft squeegee, or a microfiber cloth to remove air bubbles as you go.
  • Apply firm, even pressure across the entire decal.

Post-Application & Heat Treatment

  • Once applied, go over the decal again with firm pressure to ensure full contact.
  • Carefully heat-treat the decal using a heat gun or small torch to activate the adhesive and help the vinyl conform to the plastic. Use low heat and keep the heat source moving at all times.

Do not overheat — excessive heat can burn, distort, or damage the vinyl and laminate.
  • The vinyl should become slightly warm and more flexible, not hot.

This heat-treat step is critical for long-term adhesion, especially on curved plastics and high-wear areas.
